Is Boostmobile prepaid good in the Los Angeles area?

I may only use it every other day to text or check the baseball scores, so I was thinking of the pay as you go plan. Or maybe the $2 a day plan. Either way I have TMobile I may use once a week, but they cut off the internet, so if I want to check scores now I can't anymore. thank you :)|||As long as you're within the city limit it works great
